The International Disability Alliance (IDA) is an international alliance of individuals to defend the rights of those with disabilities at national, regional and international levels. IDA played an important role together with Inclusion International, a organisation for the rights of people with intellectual disabilities, Down Syndrome International (DSI), and World Federation of the Deaf to form the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities into its adoption by the United Nations General Assembly.
